CHIMNEY REBUILDS & CROWN REPAIR IN DORCHESTER, MA
When repair is not enough, we rebuild. Above roofline reconstruction and complete chimney rebuilds. Code compliant. Built to last.

ABOVE ROOFLINE CHIMNEY REBUILD
The portion of your chimney above the roofline takes the worst abuse from weather. It is exposed to rain, snow, ice, wind, and sun from all sides. Most chimney damage occurs here.
An above roofline rebuild removes the damaged portion and constructs a new chimney from the roofline up. This is often the most cost-effective solution when upper masonry is severely deteriorated but the chimney structure below the roof is sound.

FULL CHIMNEY RECONSTRUCTION
Some chimneys are damaged beyond partial repair. When structural problems extend below the roofline, or when the chimney is leaning dangerously, full reconstruction is necessary.
A full chimney rebuild removes the entire chimney structure and builds new from the foundation up. We ensure proper footing, structural support, and code compliance at every step.
This is a major project, but sometimes it is the only safe option. A rebuilt chimney done right will last 50 years or more with proper maintenance.

CHIMNEY CROWN REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT
The chimney crown is the concrete or mortar cap at the top of your chimney. It sheds water away from the flue and protects the chimney structure below. A damaged crown is one of the most common causes of chimney water damage.
Crown damage starts small. A hairline crack lets in water. That water freezes and expands. The crack grows. Within a few seasons, the entire crown can fail.
